But it's not just the naturist scene that comes here; above all, the gay scene has discovered this unspoiled piece of nature for itself. For cruising, people meet here at the Sachsendorf lake in the woods between the shore and the nearby railway tracks. The gay cruising season starts here in spring as soon as the first rays of sun appear and doesn't end until late autumn. But even in winter you can still cruise here, granted not on the lake itself but on the adjacent parking lot. There's also always something happening on the Eberswalde canal.
