Kleiner Tiergarten

Kleiner Tiergarten, 10559, Berlin, Berlin

Kleiner Tiergarten covers approximately 7 hectares and is located in the Moabit district of Berlin. It lies between Turmstraße, which runs to the north, and Alt-Moabit street, which runs to the south. It's also right at the Turmstraße U-Bahn station, where line U9 and various bus connections stop. It offers a huge off-leash area for dogs, as well as large green spaces where you can enjoy the sun in summer. It also has many winding paths that stretch from Kleiner Tiergarten to Otto Park, perfect for wonderful walks. But that's far from all—especially after dark, the park comes alive in a whole new way. For decades, Kleiner Tiergarten has been one of the popular gay cruising areas for gay men in Moabit. It offers numerous cruising spots, though the most popular is still the area by the outer right church wall when coming from the Spree side. Countless gay and bisexual men gather there in good weather and bad. Mostly a very young clientele, usually made up of Southern Europeans but also older men. The cruising spot at Theodor-Heuss-Platz is also very exciting.
