The Rastplatz Ahlken on the A1 is the backup overflow parking lot for the gay cruising area Rastplatz Krummhörens Kuhlen on the A1, which is located only about 1 kilometer away on the opposite side of the road. This parking lot is not very large, but offers an excellent gay cruising forest right by the Ahlker Fleet. It is located on the highway (A1) heading toward Osnabrück between the Arsten exit and the Brinkum exit near Bremen.
