Regenbogenstrand

To reach Regenbogenstrand, you just have to follow the riverside path north from Altefähr. Where the path leads from the windmills toward the Baltic Sea, you'll find it right there. The Hetero Strand appears first, but just a few meters further along you'll already find the gay section. In summer, the men line up here like eggs in a carton to get a tan, naturally. But just because this is a nudist area doesn't mean you can only sunbathe naked here—there are plenty of interesting men around wearing swim trunks too. For cruising, you can use almost any quiet spot you find. For men who prefer privacy during intimate moments, the best option is to retreat high up into the embankments or drift comfortably in the water. The reeds along the shore with their countless love nests also offer excellent opportunities. To get a better overview of the numerous cruising spots and hot guys at Regenbogenstrand, it's worth coming by bike and riding the paved path up and down. Of course you can do it all comfortably on foot too if you arrived by car. From dusk onward, people meet here at the path junction by the windmills. Usually the younger men (twinks, teens, students, etc.) hang out on the left side. And on the right opposite side, mostly the mature gays (daddies, bears, and the old guard). For winter, the gay cruising area at Frankenteich Stralsund is perfect.
