Wallanlagen Rostock

August-Bebel-Straße 38, 18055 Rostock, Rostock

The Wallanlagen Rostock were originally built in 1269 for the defense of the city. The city wall at that time was over 3 kilometers long and equipped with 22 gates and countless towers. Today, a park area of approximately 4.5 hectares opens up here, with about 1.2 kilometers of the wall still preserved. The longest section of the wall is around 450 meters and runs parallel between the "Kröpeliner Tor" and "Schwaansche Straße". What's also special about this area is that countless gay men gather here in summer for cruising. But not only gay men meet here—DWT, trans people, and many curious straight people also like to come. The entire park is actually suitable for cruising and fun. But the most popular gay cruising spot in the Wallanlagen Rostock is on the path by the old pavilion. People gather there in the cover of darkness for shared pleasure. At the A19 Zarnow parking lot there's also always action.
