Here you will find answers about your account, Basic, Silver and Gold, Coins and Rainblow Places. The step-by-step instructions help you change settings yourself and solve common problems.
Rainblow is a community for adults to meet, flirt and chat. You can discover profiles, make contacts and find interesting places with Rainblow Places. Which additional features you can use depends on your membership and the extras you have activated.
Rainblow is exclusively for people aged 18 and over. Enter your actual date of birth. A paid plan or a profile verification does not replace this requirement.
Yes. When you register you get the free Basic membership. A paid membership or Coins are purchased separately. Simply creating an account does not create a Premium subscription.
Open Rainblow, choose to register and follow the steps shown. Use an email address you have access to. Confirm your email via the message we send you and then complete your profile. Choose a photo of yourself and briefly describe who you would like to meet.
Yes. Open Rainblow in an up-to-date browser and sign in with the same account. Your membership and your Coins belong to that account. You do not need a second account for another device.
Open Rainblow in Safari. Open the share menu, via "More" if necessary, and choose "Add to Home Screen". Turn on "Open as Web App" if that option is shown and tap "Add". You can then open Rainblow from the icon on your home screen. The wording may differ slightly depending on your iOS version.
Open Rainblow in Google Chrome. Tap the three dots at the top right and choose "Add to Home screen". Then choose "Install" if offered and confirm the steps shown. You can then open Rainblow from the app icon. What you see may differ depending on your device and browser version.
No. You can also use Rainblow directly in your browser. Either way you use the same account with your existing membership and your Coin balance. Installing from the browser does not require a download from an app store.
Open Rainblow directly in Safari on iPhone or in Chrome on Android. If you opened a link inside another app, for example Instagram, installing may not be available there. Update your browser if needed. You can continue to use Rainblow in the browser if your device does not offer installation.
Check the email address you entered and your spam folder. Also check whether your mailbox is full. Use the option to request the confirmation again and note any waiting time shown. Then use the most recent message.
On the login page choose "Forgot password" and enter the email address of your account. Open the reset message and follow the link. If no message arrives, check the spelling, your spam folder and the free space in your mailbox. If you requested several messages, use the most recent link.
First check your email address and password, especially inserted spaces and old credentials filled in automatically. Reset your password if necessary. Reload the page and try an up-to-date browser. If an account review or a block is shown, follow the notice you received; a new account must not be used to get around a block.
With Basic you can edit your profile, view profiles and public information, search for members near you and read the messages you receive in full. You can reply in a conversation opened by a Silver or Gold member, give up to ten likes a day and save profiles as favourites. Viewing, saving and commenting on Places and using "Tag Me Here" are included too. With Basic you cannot start new private conversations yourself.
With Silver you can start new private conversations, give unlimited likes, see who has liked you and view the profile visitors that are available. You can search for members worldwide and request access to private albums. You also use Rainblow ad-free. An album request only opens a private album once its owner agrees.
Gold adds travel mode, hiding your profile visits and online status, and the priority feature for selected messages to the Silver features. Access to profile verification is included; you still have to complete the check successfully. You will find the full overview of all included extras in the membership description before you buy.
No. Even with Gold there are separate Coin offers, for example Spotlight and virtual gifts. You can see whether a service is included in your plan in the membership overview and before you activate it. An included feature does not have to be bought again.
Premium is the shared term for the paid Silver and Gold memberships. Basic is the free membership. Buying Coins, a verification or a single bundle does not by itself turn your account into a Silver or Gold account.
Open "My Profile", then "Account settings" and the "Membership" section. There you will find your plan and the related term details. Note the difference between the next billing date and a confirmed contract end date after cancellation.
Open the membership overview or the Coin or feature purchase you are interested in. Before you confirm, you will see the scope of the service and the conditions that apply to you. The FAQ deliberately does not contain a price list.
With Silver and Gold no adverts are shown inside Rainblow. Informative links, for example to the website of a sauna or bar listed in Places, can still be shown. Being ad-free also does not mean that all data processing or every required cookie prompt disappears.
Open your profile and choose the edit function for the section concerned. Update your details and save the changes. Then check your profile. Entries in the search filter determine who you are looking for; they do not automatically change the details on your own profile.
Describe briefly what interests you and what kind of contacts you are looking for. Concrete details make it easier to start a conversation. Stay honest and respectful. Do not publish other people's contact details or sensitive information you do not want to share with others.
Open the photo management area of your profile and choose the option to add photos. Note the file requirements shown when uploading. In the image management area you can select a suitable photo of yourself as your profile picture. Before uploading, check that the orientation and the crop are right.
Check the file format and file size against the upload notes. Try a smaller copy and a stable internet connection. On a phone, check whether your browser or app is allowed to access the photo you selected. Rotate or edit the image in your photo app before uploading if needed.
Only use images you are legally allowed to share. For images of other people you need the necessary rights and consents. Public profile pictures must comply with the rules for public images; intimate content does not belong in the public preview. Images showing identifiable minors are not allowed on Rainblow. The details are set out in the Community Guidelines.
You decide who gets access. A member with Silver or Gold can request your private album. You can accept or decline the request and withdraw access later with effect for the future. Neither a membership nor a gift replaces your consent.
Consensual intimate content of adults may only be shared in the private area provided for it and within the Community Guidelines and applicable law. Private does not mean unrestricted. Unsolicited intimate content, secretly made recordings and content involving minors are prohibited.
Sharing limits access within Rainblow. It is not reliable protection against an authorised viewer photographing the screen or making a copy. So only share content whose disclosure you are consciously prepared for. You can report unlawful redistribution.
Possible reasons are missing image rights, someone else's identity, prohibited content or an unsuitable profile photo. Read the notice about the specific decision and the Community Guidelines. If you believe the decision is wrong, you can ask for a review; the way to do so is described in the section "Closing your account, privacy and safety".
Open the member search and adjust the filters offered. With Basic you can search for members near you. Less narrow filters can return additional results. An empty list of results does not automatically mean that something is wrong with your account.
With Silver or Gold you can choose a different search location in the worldwide member search. For example, you can search for members in Thailand from Germany. This does not automatically change the profile location shown for you.
The worldwide search changes which members you are searching for. Gold travel mode makes your own profile findable at the destination you choose. Others can see that you are using travel mode. It does not confirm that you are already there and it does not set a presence in Rainblow Places.
Check your search location and your filters. The narrower your search, the fewer matching profiles can appear. In some regions fewer members are active. Travel mode entries describe a chosen destination and do not have to indicate an actual stay.
With Basic you can give up to ten likes per day. Silver and Gold include unlimited likes within the community rules. The limit applies to outgoing likes, not to the number of your matches. A like does not guarantee a reply.
No. With Basic you cannot start a new private chat yourself, not even after a match. As soon as a member with Silver or Gold writes to you, you can reply in that conversation.
Open the profile concerned and choose the favourites function. You will find your saved profiles in the favourites overview. You can use the same function to remove a profile again. Saving a favourite is possible with Basic, Silver and Gold.
Silver and Gold show you the profile visitors that are available and the likes you received. With Basic you can buy the visitor unlocks offered separately. That does not override invisibility: protected visits do not become visible through a purchase.
Yes. You can read the messages you receive in full. If a member with Silver or Gold opened the conversation, you can reply in that conversation, several times as well. To start a new chat yourself you need Silver or Gold.
A conversation already opened through Premium stays open for replies, even if the Premium membership ends later. This does not create a right to open new conversations as a Basic member. Blocks, account deletions and restrictions remain in effect.
First check whether you want to start a new chat or reply in a conversation that is already unlocked. New chats require Silver or Gold. A block, an account deletion or a restriction can also prevent contact. Coins, gifts and priority messages do not override such limits.
You can highlight a selected message with the priority feature. The feature is available for Silver as an add-on and is included with Gold. It does not guarantee a reply or a contact. It is not applied automatically to every message and it is not intended to let Basic get around the chat rules.
Check your internet connection and reload the chat. Before sending again, check whether the message is already shown so that it does not arrive twice. Then check your chat permission and any notices about your account. For a general display problem, the steps in the section "Technical problems and notifications" will help.
This can be connected with an account deletion, a block, a suspension or a technical fault. The exact reason cannot be reliably inferred from a conversation that has disappeared. We do not disclose private information about measures taken against other members.
Other members decide for themselves whether and when they reply. A personal, respectful message and a meaningful profile can make it easier to get started. Writing repeatedly despite a rejection is not allowed. Premium, Spotlight or a gift do not oblige anyone to respond either.
The translation feature helps you understand messages in another language. Whether and for how long it is unlocked for you is shown in the respective offer or in your membership. A time-limited translation pass applies to your chats; one day means 24 hours. It does not renew automatically. Translations can contain errors. Ask again about important statements instead of relying on the translation alone.
Coins are units you can use inside Rainblow for the additional digital services offered. You buy them separately and then redeem them for a feature or a bundle. Coins are not a bank balance and cannot be used as a means of payment outside Rainblow.
No. You only top up Coins through a purchase you confirm yourself. An empty Coin balance does not trigger an automatic payment. The automatic continuation of a Premium membership is a separate process.
You can see your available balance in the Coin area. Under settings you will find "Coin History". There you can check the credits and debits listed and compare them with your purchases and activations.
Purchased Coins do not expire through the passage of time alone. Time-limited extras, on the other hand, can run out after they are activated. If you delete your account permanently, you can no longer redeem any remaining Coins through it. Statutory rights and contractual rights you have already acquired remain in place.
There is no general right to a payout or to exchange them for money. Coins and additional services may not be sold or transferred outside the platform features expressly offered. Statutory rights to a refund remain in place. You can send virtual gifts using the feature provided for that purpose.
Spotlight highlights your profile with priority for 30 minutes. It increases visibility within the member view provided for it, but does not guarantee a particular number of profile visits, likes, replies or matches. Check that your profile is complete before you activate it.
A bundle contains several defined digital services. Before you buy you can see which units are included. The purchase assigns them to your account; they are only used up when activated or redeemed. The term of a time-limited extra starts when it is activated. A bundle does not unlock additional chat rights unless that is expressly part of the offer.
No. Buying a bundle does not trigger an automatic renewal or a recurring Coin debit. Purchased units that have not yet been activated do not expire through the passage of time alone. Extras that are already running end after their agreed duration.
Virtual gifts are shown inside Rainblow. No physical object is sent. The recipient does not gain any right to a payout as a result. A gift is voluntary and does not create a right to a reply, to album access or to a meeting.
An AI profile check can give you suggestions about your profile. The notes are suggestions, not confirmation of your identity and no guarantee of more contacts. Check them yourself and only use what fits you. The Privacy Policy explains the services used for this and the data processing involved.
Undoing reverses your last swipe. Second Chance is a separate area where you can look again at the profiles provided for it. Neither is a guarantee of finding a particular person again. Blocked or deleted profiles do not become accessible again as a result. Check the description of the service shown before you unlock it.
Spotlight 5 contains five Spotlights that can be activated individually. First Move combines two Spotlights with an AI profile check. Little Treats contains ten vouchers for the gifts provided for them in the offer. The individual units are used up as you use them. First Move does not allow a Basic member to start a new private chat.
Gold covers the services described in your membership. Other extras remain separate offers. If the specific service is already included, do not buy it again. First check the account you are signed in with and your current membership status; if you were actually charged incorrectly, use the route described under "Payments and purchase problems".
Start profile verification in your account. You need a suitable photo of yourself, which is checked by our compliance team. You also confirm your phone number with an SMS code. You only receive the badge once the required steps have been completed successfully. This is the verification of your profile, not a separate Places verification.
With Gold, access to the review procedure is included. With Basic or Silver you can purchase it separately. The purchase pays for the review procedure described and does not guarantee a positive result. A Gold member also has to pass the check successfully.
The badge stands for a successfully completed photo and phone check. It is not comprehensive proof of identity or of being of age and no guarantee of a member's intentions or reliability. You still decide for yourself what information you share and who you meet.
Yes. A successful verification does not end simply because your Gold membership or a change of plan does. If there are concrete indications of incorrect details or misuse, it can be reviewed again and withdrawn where appropriate.
Check your phone number and country code. Check your mobile reception and any SMS blocks. Note the waiting time shown in the verification flow before you request a new code. Use the most recent code and only enter it in the verification flow. Do not share it in a chat.
Ninja consists of two separate settings: hide profile visits and hide online status. You decide which of them you activate. With Gold the service is included; for Basic and Silver it is available as an add-on. Ninja does not automatically mean that your entire profile disappears from every view.
No. Visits that were protected during a promised period of invisibility are not made visible afterwards. Another member with Gold or a visitor unlock cannot get around this setting either. With time-limited extras, check when the active period ends.
New accounts receive the badge automatically for three days. It marks a new arrival on Rainblow and is not a verification or a statement about the person's reliability. You do not have to buy it separately.
Rainblow Places is a directory with a map for locations such as bars, clubs, saunas and cruising areas. The entries help you find your way around. An entry does not confirm that a place is currently open, that it is safe or that using it in any particular way is allowed. Observe local rules and the operator's house rules.
You can view the directory and the map publicly. With a Basic account you are signed in to, you can also save places, comment, use "Tag Me Here" and view the seven-day recap. Live presence has its own requirements; a paid membership alone does not replace verification.
"Tag Me Here" records a past visit in your private visited list. It does not set a live presence. With current presence you indicate for a limited time that you are at this place now. You can remove your visited marker again.
You need a successfully verified profile. This applies equally to Basic, Silver and Gold. An unverified Gold member does not gain access through their plan. The visibility of an individual profile additionally requires that member's express permission for that check-in.
Open the place concerned and start the presence function. Choose the duration offered and decide whether you are only counted or whether your profile should be visible. Check the details before confirming. A required location prompt serves to verify where you are and does not replace your deliberate confirmation.
No. The default setting is "count only". Your profile is only shown to other authorised members if you expressly allow it for that check-in. An earlier permission is not automatic consent for every later check-in.
You can close it early at any time via "End presence". Otherwise it ends automatically after the duration you chose. Checking in at another place ends the previous presence. You can withdraw a profile permission during the presence with effect for the future.
A counter is not a list of everyone at the place. Members can be counted without releasing their profile. The relevant access permissions and blocks also apply. A purchase does not make hidden profiles visible.
Rainblow limits the precision so that small numbers cannot easily be traced back to individual people. A general note is not a promise of a particular number. A city counter, past check-ins and current presence describe different activities and must not be treated as the same thing.
With it you indicate when you intend to visit a place. Planned presence is not a current check-in and no guarantee that a person will actually be there later. The verification requirements of the Places feature apply to setting and seeing it.
Cruising Master is an add-on for the Places convenience features named in its service description. You can see which features and which term are included before you activate it. It does not replace verification and does not override blocks or the "count only" setting. Being verified and holding a convenience pass are different things.
As a signed-in member you can suggest a business location. To suggest a cruising area you need a verified profile. Give the position and the details of the place as precisely as possible. New suggestions are checked internally before they are published and are not visible to others until they are approved.
Open the place and use the report function. You can state that it no longer exists, that it is in the wrong position, that it is unsafe or dangerous, or that it contains incorrect information. Describe as specifically as possible what should be changed. Reports are reviewed; if your report leads to a change, you will receive feedback. For legal infringements without an account, the dedicated reporting route is described in the section "Closing your account, privacy and safety".
The payment methods available for your purchase are shown during the order process. They can differ depending on country and offer. Choose one of the methods offered there and also complete any confirmation required by the payment provider.
Successful purchases are made available for immediate use. With a bundle, the purchase is separate from the activation of its individual units. Check your account and your purchase confirmation. A payment authorisation or reservation with the payment provider alone need not yet be a completed booking.
First check whether a purchase confirmation or a credit is already in your account. Check the error message and any authorisation still pending with your payment provider. Do not repeat the purchase several times in a row. A different browser or another payment method offered can help if the purchase really was cancelled.
Make sure you are signed in to the account you bought with. Reload the page and check your membership, Coin History or the units you acquired. If a confirmed service is still missing, send your order or transaction number, the purchase date and a short description to [email protected]. Do not send a password, an SMS code or complete card details.
Check whether your Premium membership is still running and whether the amount belongs to an agreed billing period. Compare your purchase and cancellation confirmations. Coins are not topped up automatically. If the charge cannot be matched, use [email protected] and name the booking concerned.
Compare the bookings with your confirmations and check whether one of them is only pending. In the case of an actual duplicate charge or another unauthorised debit, you can request correction at [email protected]. Such a report is not an application for a discretionary goodwill payment.
Simply not using the service or not getting any contacts does not create a right to a refund for services provided in accordance with the contract. Statutory rights, for example in the case of a valid withdrawal, an incorrect charge or a service that was not provided, remain in place. Cancel a running subscription separately if you do not want to continue it.
Silver and Gold are offered with an initial term of one, three or six months. The initial term is paid in advance. Before you buy you can see the agreed conditions for the start, billing and continuation.
Yes, if you do not cancel in time. After the initial term the membership continues for an indefinite period and is billed monthly. This does not commit you to a new fixed three- or six-month term. In the subsequent open-ended phase you can cancel at any time with one month's notice.
With an initial term of three or six months the notice period is one month to the end of that term. A one-month initial term can be cancelled up to the day it expires. After the initial term a notice period of one month applies, with no additional tie to the end of a calendar or billing month. You can give notice immediately after your purchase. Mandatory statutory rights that are more favourable to you remain in place.
Open "My Profile", "Account settings" and "Membership". Choose "Cancel Subscription" and complete the confirmation. Alternatively you can use the publicly accessible "Cancel contracts here" function on the website or write to [email protected]. Keep the confirmation with the end date.
No. With an ordinary cancellation you can continue to use the services until the confirmed contract end date. After that your Basic account remains unless you delete it. Claims that have legitimately arisen remain in place; fees for periods after the contract effectively ends are corrected accordingly.
Choose the Gold upgrade and check the summary before confirming. The unused share of the Silver fee you actually paid is credited pro rata. You choose the new Gold term expressly. When the upgrade takes effect, your previous Silver subscription ends, so that two subscriptions do not run for the same period.
With a cancellation you end the membership on the contractual or statutory date. A withdrawal concerns unwinding a contract within the statutory right of withdrawal. For consumers a period of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract applies as a rule; the details and exceptions are set out in the withdrawal instructions.
Use the "Withdraw from contract" function on the website or send an unambiguous statement to [email protected]. Name the order concerned where possible so that we can match it. You do not have to give a reason. The model form in the withdrawal instructions is there to help but is not mandatory; other legally permitted routes remain available.
Not automatically. First use of an ongoing Premium subscription or the mere crediting of Coins is not enough for that. Different requirements apply to services and to digital content. If you expressly asked for an early start, compensation for value can be payable under the statutory conditions. The withdrawal instructions and the separate information given at the time of purchase explain the details.
Open the account settings and choose account deletion. Read the notes on access, a running membership and remaining services before you confirm. If you only want to stop further Premium payments, cancelling is enough; your Basic profile does not have to be deleted for that.
An instruction to delete the account permanently also counts as cancellation of the Premium membership on the earliest possible contractual or statutory date. Immediate deletion ends your access earlier if you wish, but does not by itself shorten the agreed contract term. The confirmed contract end date is decisive; statutory rights remain in place.
After permanent deletion you can no longer redeem Coins and unused extras through that account. Voluntary deletion alone does not create a general right to a payout. Claims from a valid withdrawal, because of defective or missing services, and other existing claims remain in place.
No. Logging out, closing the browser or removing a shortcut from your phone does not cancel a contract and does not delete an account. Use the cancellation function for the subscription and account deletion for the profile.
The Privacy Policy explains which data Rainblow processes for which purposes, which service providers are used and what rights you have. That includes information about location features, translation, analytics and advertising. For data protection requests, [email protected] is available.
You can withdraw data protection consents you have given with effect for the future. Use the relevant privacy or cookie settings or [email protected]. Changing a consent is not automatically a subscription cancellation. Some optional features cannot be provided without the processing they require.
Open the profile concerned and choose the block function. If you want to lift a block later, open the list of blocked members in your account settings. Blocking limits contact; a report additionally asks for a possible violation to be reviewed.
Use the report function on the profile concerned and describe the reason as precisely as possible. For illegal content, image rights infringements or reports without account access you can use [email protected]. Name the profile or content link and explain what the violation consists of. Do not pass problematic intimate content on further in order to make a report.
Rainblow reviews reports and can restrict or remove content and suspend accounts temporarily or permanently. Technical safety checks, among them IP Quality Score, and human review are used for this. A report does not automatically mean that a violation has been established. Information about other members remains protected.
Yes. Read the notice about your decision and send a reasoned complaint to [email protected]. Under the Rainblow Terms this is free of charge for at least six months after notification. The review is carried out by a suitable person and not exclusively by automated means. A block must not be circumvented with a new account.
Escort offers and demands for money, pocket money or other benefits in return for sexual contact are prohibited. Fraud, extortion, harassment and sexual exploitation are equally prohibited. Content involving the sexual abuse of minors is prohibited without exception. In such cases protective measures are taken and information is passed to the competent authorities where this is required or permitted by law.
Do not pass on passwords, SMS codes or payment details and do not open suspicious links. Block and report the contact concerned. If you suspect access to your account, change your password, secure your email account as well and report the incident to [email protected]. In case of immediate danger, contact your local emergency services directly.
Reload the page and check your internet connection. Update your browser and restart it. Then try Rainblow in another up-to-date browser. If necessary, delete only the website data for Rainblow; this may log you out. Have your credentials ready beforehand. Do not switch off your antivirus or other protection software completely for this.
First check the notification settings in your account. Then check whether your browser and operating system allow notifications for Rainblow. A focus mode, power saving or disabled browser notifications can prevent them from appearing. Not every combination of browser and device supports notifications in the same way.
Open the notification settings of your account and adjust the categories offered. You can additionally disable browser notifications in your browser's site permissions. Required contractual and security notices can still be sent by email.
Check the location permission for Rainblow in your browser and in your operating system. If you have already declined a request, you may have to allow it again there. Also check whether you meet the requirements of the feature you want: for a Places check-in you need a verified profile. Travel mode and an actual stay are different things.
No. First check whether the purchase or the activation is recorded in your account and reload the view. Try another browser if necessary. Do not buy repeatedly in order to fix a display error. If a confirmed service is still missing, use [email protected] with the relevant transaction details.
Note which page the error occurs on, which steps trigger it, the error message shown and your device and browser. For purchase problems, add the order or transaction number. Redact other people's profiles and private messages in screenshots. Do not send passwords, SMS codes or complete payment details. For payment cases, safety reports and data protection requests, the dedicated routes in these FAQ apply.
